Indagación: Zonas de Chile

Comenzamos la semana pasada con este trabajo grupal de indagación, y ya llevamos varias clases investigando sobre las diferentes zonas de Chile. Como se mostró y explicó en clases, esta actividad será evaluada con las siguientes herramientas:

1)Lenguaje: la parte escrita es personal y será evaluada con este checklist.



2) Ciencias Sociales: la presentación es grupal y será evaluada con esta rúbrica.



Por favor no olviden que es sumamente importante siempre dar crédito a las fuentes que usé para mi investigación.

Assessments


Dear students and parents,We have already set the dates and topics for our first two assessments:

1. Math quiz:
      - Date: Wednesday, 23rd March
      - Contents: place value and number dictation; standard, expanded and written form of numbers.

2. Unit of Inquiry quiz:
      - Date: Thursday, 31st March
      - Contents: "What's water worth?"* (booklet); the hydrosphere and the water cycle (information in the Inquiry copybook); reflection on pollution and the responsible use of water.

* The contents in the booklet must be understood by the students in order to help them in their reflection upon the problems related to fresh water availability.

Times Tables Practice

Dear students,

You first have to set the parameters for your game (name, timer [how much time you will like to play], multiplication values [up to which times tables you wish to include], etc.) and then you may begin.
